Our Guides

Snow Goose Commanders has spent the last 17 years chasing snow geese all over the United States. We offer our customers skilled guides and large decoy spreads consisting of the best snow goose decoys on the market.

Garrett Krzysiak

I’m Garrett Krzysiak, born and raised in Northern Michigan. I’ve had the opportunity to spend most of my life chasing Sea Ducks and migrating Canada Geese. I’m a state champion duck caller, a veteran waterfowl guide, a dog trainer, and the general manager of Snow Gooose Commander, LLC. As general manager of SGC, I’m committed to making the hunt and the entire experience amazing. When you book a hunt with Garrett, his yellow 4-legged friend, and veteran gun dog, Sadie will be right there with him. Garret’s primary goal is to please people and ensure that everyone has a fun, safe, and memorable hunt!

Mark Henry

I began pursuing my dream of guiding hunts when I was 19 years old. What started as deer and turkey hunts, turned into Snow Goose Commander. One day when setting out decoys thousands of Snow Geese swarmed the sky. As I watched them I realized, I don’t just love the hunt, I love the show these Snow Geese put on. Whether you carry a gun or a camera our family wanted to share this beauty with others. So we intentionally created an affordable hunt, with a desire to watch the sport of snow geese hunting grow. It is now one of the world’s most popular spring hunts! Words can’t describe it, it’s something you have to experience yourself. This is why despite rising prices, we remain committed to keeping our guided tours inexpensive, just as we’ve done for the past 17 years.

Gage Krzysiak

Hey, I’m Gage! I’ve been an avid waterfowl hunter since I was a little kid. Being out in the fields with my dad, grandpa, and brother was one of my favorite things to do growing up. My brother, Garrett, and I spent most of our days waterfowl hunting and competition calling. It was the one thing could do together without fighting. To this day we can both be found out in the fields. The difference is now, we can share this passion with others. The value of a good hunt goes beyond how many you killed, it’s in the relationships you build while out there. I go above and beyond to satisfy my hunters from being comfortable in the blind to shooting piles. I’d rather go duck and goose hunting any day of the week over deer hunting. Waterfowl hunting is more than a sport for me, it’s a way of life.

Ted Heideman

A carpenter by trade, Ted has been an avid outdoorsman and hunter since he was old enough to hold a shotgun. From whitetail deer to turkey to geese and everything in between, he has the experience and drive to make the best of every day spent outdoors.  Conservation and land management are an important aspect of Ted’s hunts, as evidenced by his 20+ years as the local Duck’s Unlimited Chapter President.  Even with decades of experience hunting waterfowl from Canada down to Arkansas, for him there’s nothing better than what he truly loves, a day spent out in the fields with nature.

Nathan Kascht

My name Is Nathan Kascht.  I was born and raised in Richmond; a small town located in Central Minnesota.  I am a carpenter by trade.  In my spare time I love to hunt.    I have been an avid hunter since I was about 10 years old. I have many memories of hunting with my Grandpa, Dad and Uncle.  There is nothing I love more than hunting and being outdoors.   I am excited to be part of Snow Goose Commanders and look forward to the upcoming hunting season.

Chandler Martin

Chandler Martin is the name, shooting animals is the game. I was born in Quincy, IL and grew up there until I was about 15. I then moved down south to Paducah, KY where I have resided since. I’m 26 years old now and I’ve been hunting and fishing since I was pooping green in my diapers. Whether it’s deer and waterfowl in the fall/winter or snow geese, turkeys and morels in the spring I can do it all, and I can do it well. I give 110% every time I’m in the field and do everything I can to make it a fun and comfortable hunt. Im a very decorated competitive duck and goose caller, which takes up most of my summers unless I’m in a boat chasing monster catfish. I’m super stoked for the upcoming seasons with Snow Goose Commander and can’t wait to see how they pan out!

Reid Fleming

Reid grew up in Australia waterfowl hunting with his father. After relocating to America in 2010, their obsession for bird hunting only grew. Reid quickly transitioned from weekend warrior to waterfowl guide. Living in Florida in the summer along with his dog Boomer, Reid hunts everywhere from the Allapattah to Alberta. With a passion like his for waterfowl and a big personality, Reidy, as he’s called, has only one thing on his mind out there: cancelling flight and making piles
