Arkansas

Snow Goose Commanders have been guiding hunts in Arkansas for the past decade. They have found the Pocahontas area of Northeast Arkansas to be the best area to hunt in the state. During hunts in Arkansas, feeds are hunted every day. We have top-of-the-line lodges available that will accommodate all of your needs. The locations will be determined based on the hunt you have chosen. Every lodge has a bird cleaning station. When you are not hunting, all of the lodges offer trap and rifle shooting for an additional fee. The lodges also offer cable TV, a washer and dryer, and are fully furnished with cookware. While on the hunt, you will be hunting over veteran gun dogs. We use SkyFly decoys and Big Al’s Silhouettes. Spread sizes will range from 50 to 200 dozen. During these Arkansas hunts, we primarily hunt rice fields also known as Arkansas Gumbo. Be prepared for a wet sticky climate. Knee-high boots or waders are recommended. Arkansas can also get cold. Checking the weather prior to your hunt and dressing accordingly is advised.
