Snow Goose Commanders have spent the majority of their careers hunting in South Dakota. We hunt over migrator spreads consisting of 3,000+ decoys. The temperature is dry and very cold. The fields we hunt in South Dakota are primarily pasture and corn fields. Pit blinds, panel blinds, and backboards are primarily used. The lodging in South Dakota is farmhouse style. Our primary lodging is located near Cottonwood Lake 15 miles southwest of Redfield South Dakota. Our houses come with all the amenities and are fully furnished. Bird cleaning facilities, trap shooting, and long-range rifle shooting are available as well. South Dakota does charge sales tax for every additional purchase, unlike other states. The weather can be wet and cold, so checking the weather and dressing accordingly is advised.
